Worldlight opens a new space in Palma de Mallorca. Lighthouse
After ten years in the lighting market, Worldlight has decided to go a step further and enter a new project. It is a new space where you can show first hand all the products that Worldlight works with. So far the lighting studio was located in the center of Palma. The evolution and increase, both in number and size, of the projects in which we have been collaborating has made possible the move to a larger and more ambitious space. From the management, the intention was to do something big, something different, something unusual, something groundbreaking. A place that would pay homage to lighting itself. For Worldlight, light is key to generate emotions in those who inhabit the spaces. From the new facilities we wanted to transmit this motto in every corner, in every room, in every exhibition area. It was decided to count on David Martinez of Minimal Studio, one of the great architects of reference in Palma, who stands out precisely for his minimalist but groundbreaking, provocative and important designs.
A warehouse of 800 square meters in the Polígono Son Castelló in Mallorca was chosen. A few months later and thanks to the entire team and the professionals hired, Worldlight opened its doors on September 28, coinciding with an event for architects and interior designers of the sector, which served to unveil and surprise with a unique showroom in its category. The new studio has a great reception, surprising for its minimalist industrial style in combination with more organic and natural elements. The predominant tones in concrete gray, light sand and mustard bring warmth to the space. As clear protagonists: three shipping containers in the central part that leads to the offices and work rooms, and a large pool with dark background that causes a reflection, like a mirror, on the surface of the water. In the concrete, incredible flashes of light.

At the rear of the headquarters, there are offices, work rooms and a space that simulates outdoor spaces and serves as a vehicle to represent the outdoor lighting.
As a novelty in this new exhibition, interior designers, architects and clients will be able to enjoy a small sample of auxiliary furniture and outdoor furniture.
In short, Worldlight now has a larger, more complete and more appropriate space to continue generating emotions through its lighting design projects, a space created by and for its clients!
