Numa Beach is the ultimate expression of the Mediterranean. This new beach club, located on the seafront in Playa de Muro, captures the essence of summer in Mallorca as few others have done.

The integral reform of this establishment has been developed by Minimal Studio. To approach it, we joined creativity and professional excellence with typical elements of the area in which it is located, creating a place open to the sea in its entirety and that blends with its surroundings.

Numa Beach is the perfect example of the meticulous process that the Minimal team immerses itself in when developing a work of these characteristics.

A beach club open to the sea

Obsession for happiness' is its meaning in Japanese. Numa Beach was conceived from the very beginning as a beach club in which to feel in tune with the sea and find an oasis of disconnection with exquisite cuisine. In this sense, capturing its essence has been a challenge that has culminated in a very powerful visual expression with great importance in terms of design.
To create this space, we have chosen to use a neutral chromatic scale that gives the entire beach club a visual neatness that connects at all times with panoramic sea views.

Each of the spaces has a visual differentiation. Thus, the Balinese bed area is separated from the amphitheater and cocktail bar area, as well as the restaurant itself, which in turn has an indoor and outdoor part.

However, all the spaces are understood as a whole due to the fact that the joints of the pavements have been made with marine sand, which creates a total connection and mimicry with the environment.

For this task, the lighting layout has been key. Special attention has been paid to the specific solar influence of the moment, in addition to creating a visual and conceptual path, as is the case in the access tunnel to the wet rooms.
