Lighting consulting

Lighting consulting involves analyzing a space or project from a lighting perspective to optimize its design, energy efficiency, and visual comfort.
Through a technical study of existing or planned lighting, opportunities for improvement can be identified to optimize the performance of the lighting system.
At Worldlight, we offer lighting consulting services for architectural projects, hotels, restaurants, and commercial spaces.

Lighting analysis of the space

The first step in a lighting consultation is to analyze the lighting conditions of the space.

This analysis includes:
• lighting levels
• light distribution
• color temperature
• energy efficiency
Based on this study, the necessary improvements to optimize the lighting system can be defined.

Energy optimization

Well-designed lighting allows for reduced energy consumption without compromising light quality.

Common solutions include:
• replacing inefficient light fixtures
• optimizing light distribution
• implementing control systems
This improves the project’s energy performance

Intelligent lighting control

Control systems allow lighting to be adapted to different scenarios and times of day.

One of the most widely used systems is Casambi, which allows lighting to be managed wirelessly.

Professional lighting design

Lighting consulting is part of the process of developing a complete lighting project

Some of our hotel lighting projects

Hotel Mim Mallorca

A hotel that combines Mediterranean and Balearic design with local craftsmanship, native materials and sustainable lighting, standing out for its modern facade and the pursuit of LEED certification.

Hotel Ars Magna

We designed the lighting for the Ars Magna Hotel together with interior designer Marga Rotger, using elegant lines, neutral and golden tones, and indirect lighting that brings warmth and sophistication to the space.

Hotel Hoposa

World Light designed the lighting for the Hoposa Pollentia hotel together with Marga Rotger, creating unique environments with indirect light and decorative lamps, inspired by the Mediterranean.

Hotel El Vicenç de la Mar

We designed the lighting for the Hotel El Vicenç de la Mar, including lighting points in the pool area. Here are some images of the project, taken by Francisco Garvi. We hope you like them!
