Office Lighting: Escribano Offices

An office stays lit for many hours a day, so lighting can’t be a last-minute add-on.

At the Escribano offices, Worldlight designed the lighting together with Alejandra Company as the project’s interior designer, and with the support of Frepi Lighting.

Technical lighting: the foundation of the project

Everything starts with a warm 3000K light, designed to perform all day long without making the space feel cold or impersonal. On top of that base, the track lighting marks the routes and reinforces the geometry of the corridors, resulting in a tidier, cleaner office. The large windows bring in plenty of natural light, so we made sure the artificial light blended with it instead of overpowering it.

The integration details complete the picture. The joinery hides a solution you can’t see at first glance, and the recessed coves mark the entrances and add a sense of height. As evening falls, the vertical garden lights up and completely changes the facade, bringing the building to life once the workday ends.

Decorative lighting: part of the design

With the technical base in place, decorative lighting completes the space. We combined floor lamps, pendants and small garden bollards, using materials like alabaster, fabric and blown glass, which change the feel of the light. In the high-ceiling areas, the pendants fill the space and give it presence. The star piece is the Flare set by Bomma above the meeting table, designed specifically for that space, with each piece and its position carefully studied.
