Lighting design studio in Spain

A professional lighting design studio creates lighting solutions that enhance the aesthetics, functionality, and energy efficiency of a space. Lighting not only allows us to see, but also directly influences the perception of architecture, visual comfort, and the overall experience of people.

At Worldlight, we develop lighting projects for hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces, and architectural projects. Our team combines design, technology, and intelligent light control to create unique environments.

Each project begins with an analysis of the space, the architecture, and the client’s needs, with the goal of designing lighting that adds value to the project.

What does a lighting studio do?

A lighting study analyzes how light interacts with space and designs lighting solutions that improve both the aesthetics and functionality of the environment.

Among the services offered by a lighting study are:

  • Lighting analysis of spaces
  • Architectural lighting design
  • Lighting simulations
  • Luminaire selection
  • Integration of lighting control systems

This process allows for optimizing the project’s energy performance and ensuring adequate lighting for each activity.

Architectural lighting projects

Architectural lighting design allows you to highlight the volumes, materials, and textures of a building through the strategic use of light.

An architectural lighting project can be applied to:

  • hotels
  • restaurants
  • homes
  • corporate buildings
  • retail spaces

The goal is to create environments that reinforce the architectural design and enhance the user experience.

Hotel lighting

Hotels require lighting projects that combine comfort, aesthetics, and energy efficiency.

From guest room lighting to common areas, the light must be adapted to each space to create welcoming and functional environments.

Lighting for commercial premises

Lighting in retail spaces directly influences the customer experience and product perception.

Appropriate lighting design can improve product visibility, create inviting atmospheres, and reinforce brand identity.

Some of our hotel lighting projects

Hotel Mim Mallorca

A hotel that combines Mediterranean and Balearic design with local craftsmanship, native materials and sustainable lighting, standing out for its modern facade and the pursuit of LEED certification.

Hotel Ars Magna

We designed the lighting for the Ars Magna Hotel together with interior designer Marga Rotger, using elegant lines, neutral and golden tones, and indirect lighting that brings warmth and sophistication to the space.

Hotel Hoposa

World Light designed the lighting for the Hoposa Pollentia hotel together with Marga Rotger, creating unique environments with indirect light and decorative lamps, inspired by the Mediterranean.

Hotel El Vicenç de la Mar

We designed the lighting for the Hotel El Vicenç de la Mar, including lighting points in the pool area. Here are some images of the project, taken by Francisco Garvi. We hope you like them!

Lighting consulting

Lighting consulting allows us to analyze a project from both a technical and lighting perspective to optimize its performance.

This service includes:

  • Lighting audit
  • Energy optimization
  • Improved visual comfort
  • Technical advice

Intelligent lighting control

Control systems allow lighting to be adapted to different scenes and needs.

One of the most widely used systems in professional lighting projects is the Casambi system, which allows for wireless lighting control.
