Marga Comas, a renowned interior designer in Palma and director of her own studio Marga Comas Interior Design, commissioned us, Worldlight, to develop the lighting design for a unique space: the Mallorca Air Handling terminal at Palma Airport.

As Marga explains, the project covers an area of 285 m², with renovation work carried out both in the office area and in the client zones.

In the client area, different ceiling heights made it possible to introduce a variety of lighting solutions. Some lights are indirect, while others are direct, helping to highlight individual design elements and create the desired atmosphere in each space.

The main idea behind the project was to make clients feel at home: comfortable, relaxed, and with a sense of privacy. This sense of intimacy and comfort was achieved through the careful selection of materials and, most importantly, through the lighting, which plays a key role in defining the warmth and character of the environment.
