Es Carritxó by Salvà Ortin

A project by Salvà Ortin Arquitectes, distinguished by its strong character and immense personality, designed to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings and standing as a clear example of architectural perfection.

The home’s volumetry is based on the combination of three simple rectangular volumes, mostly with pitched roofs, following municipal and regional regulations regarding landscape integration.

Views have been incorporated into the main areas of the house, carefully designed despite some unfavorable orientations. Spaces facing these directions also include openings towards optimal solar orientation, ensuring light and comfort throughout the home.

At Worldlight Estudio, specialists in lighting design projects in the Balearic Islands, we had the pleasure of contributing to this architectural jewel through our lighting solutions. Exclusive lamps from manufacturers such as Erco and Vibia take center stage in several areas of the house.

Es Carritxó by Salvà Ortin was designed to reveal the home’s entirety from the first impression. The entrance hall connects to both the basement and the first floor through a triple-height space, which aligns with the staircases linking the levels and frames views of the surrounding landscape through a large window.
