Concrete Loves by Minimal Studio

At Worldlight, we specialize in lighting design for architectural and interior design projects, collaborating with some of the most renowned professionals across the Balearic Islands.

We participated as the lighting design studio in this comprehensive home renovation in Puerto de Alcúdia, a project developed in collaboration with Minimal Studio.

One of the essential goals of the project was to bring more light into a home that was originally quite dark.

The main objective of the renovation was to give the residence a greater sense of space and brightness throughout. To achieve this, much of the interior partitioning was demolished, along with all existing finishes, fixtures, and furniture. The purity of white and the refinement of marble contrast beautifully with the raw brutalism of the exposed ceiling, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Every element, finish, and fitting was carefully selected to achieve a perfect visual balance.

Special attention was paid to the lighting design, combining fully recessed elements with surface-mounted fixtures, offering great versatility and the ability to easily create different atmospheres throughout the home.
